Whether we’ve known each other for years or you’re brand new to my chair, I want to give your ideas my full attention. I founded The Crescent Salon, a sensory-friendly hair salon in San Antonio, to be a private sanctuary for the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. To protect this environment in Alamo Heights, I follow strict studio policies and do not take unscheduled calls or texts. This ensures that when you are in my chair at Terrell Plaza, my focus is entirely on you.

Since 2012, I have specialized in vivid hair color, using gemstone tones as my artistic medium. I am known for the “Wearable Glow”—rich, jewel-toned purples and reds that appear sophisticated and subtle indoors, but reveal a vibrant, multi-dimensional spark in the Texas sun. Using over a decade of experience as a vivid color specialist in San Antonio, I analyze your natural roots to “marry” the color to your hair. This eliminates harsh lines and ensures a soft, beautiful grow-out. When paired with proper aftercare, your color is engineered to retain its brilliance for 3 to 6 months.

I am an artist who respects your length. I provide precision haircuts in San Antonio that are perfectly balanced without ever getting “scissor-happy.” From textured shags and clean fades to maintaining long, healthy hair, I work with your natural growth patterns so your hair falls into place without a fight. My expertise covers all hair textures up to type 4A; I do not currently offer services for 4B patterns and beyond. Please note that a custom haircut is built into every color session at The Crescent Salon to ensure a complete, seamless transformation.

At The Crescent Salon, the wash is not just a part of the service. It is a sensory ritual designed to help your nervous system relax. Every appointment includes these steps:

• Weight I place a weighted pad on your chest and mist it with an energy-removing spray. This helps you feel grounded and present in the chair.

• Warmth I use a steamed towel to help you transition into a state of relaxation before we begin.

• Scrub For haircut-only appointments, I perform a peppermint scalp scrub followed by a professional shampoo. I do not perform the scrub during color services to ensure your scalp stays comfortable and protected.

• Repair Every service includes an Olaplex #2 bond-repairing treatment and a hydrating condition at the bowl.

• Conclusion We end the wash with a second steamed towel. This acts as a warm sensory cue that it is time to move back to the chair for your styling.

The Arrival Plan: I am located at Phenix Salon Suites (Suite 121) in Terrell Plaza (Alamo Heights). For our safety, the building doors remain locked. Simply wait at the entrance, and I will come to unlock the door and meet you exactly at your appointment time.
