I’m Cari (she/they), and over the last 14 years, I’ve grown from a student of the craft into a mentor and advocate here in San Antonio. I founded The Crescent Salon to be the sanctuary I couldn’t find elsewhere: a quiet, low-stimulation 1930s home designed to let your nervous system catch its breath. My philosophy is “always beginning”—an intentionality I bring to every gemstone color and gender-affirming cut. Whether I’m behind the chair or out in the city donating haircuts to our unhoused neighbors, my goal is the same: I want you to feel regulated, respected, and entirely like yourself.

• Scent: A warm towel with peppermint. (Let me know if you are scent-sensitive and we will skip this).
• The Wash: A firm, intentional scrub.
• Condition: A hydrating treatment while you relax.
• Massage: A temple massage to release tension.
• Wake Up: A final warm towel to help you transition back to the chair.

To ensure your hair feels as good as your nervous system, every color service is all-inclusive. For those coming in for a Haircut & Scalp Treatment, your experience includes the full 6-step ritual plus a specialized exfoliating scalp scrub to refresh and renew.

Custom color shouldn’t come with a guessing game. I’ve shifted to flat-rate sessions so you can focus on your new look, rather than watching the clock or worrying about the total at the end. Whether we’re spending five hours on a vivid Gemstone transformation or a shorter session for a standard balayage, the price is all-inclusive. This covers everything: the Signature Ritual, your custom haircut, and the final style. By removing those surprise add-on fees, we keep the vibe low-pressure and the focus exactly where it belongs—on you.
